Nicole Rue

MA • Psychological Health & Psychiatry

Nicole is a doctoral psychology intern working toward her Psy.D. in clinical psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. She has experience working in a variety of settings including substance abuse treatment centers, community mental health centers, homeless shelters, and university counseling centers. Nicole enjoys working with and learning from individuals from diverse backgrounds with a range of presenting concerns. 

Nicole has training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. She has researched issues related to family coping, chronic illness, and stages of grief.

Areas of Interest
Depression, anxiety, stress management, grief and loss, multicultural counseling, trauma, substance abuse, and phase of life issues.
