Marian received her Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies at the University of Colorado in 2004 and received her Master of Social Work at Smith College School for Social Work in 2012. While attending Smith College School for Social Work, Marian interned in Boulder at Boulder Institute for Psychotherapy and Research (BIPR) as well as Mental Health Partners. Her education, training and clinical practice is grounded in the psychodynamic tradition with an emphasis on attachment and neurobiology. Marian has training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as coursework in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Currently, Marian is engaged at Wardenburg PHP as a post-masters fellow, continues her work at BIPR and maintains a burgeoning private practice.
