  Scheduling an Appointment Online

Through Online Student Health (OSH)

What is Online Student Health (OSH)?

OSH is a system that works with Wardenburg's electronic medical records system that allows you to schedule appointments online (for some services), complete paperwork online, and communicate with your health care providers through secure messaging. OSH's secure messaging system is more confidential than e-mail.  We may use this to send messages to you, and you can use it to send messages to us.

Who can schedule an appointment online?

Any CU student with an IdentiKey login and password can use OSH.

Spouses / SGDPs and dependents of students who are enrolled in the Student Health Plans, faculty and staff, camps and conferences participants, and campus visitors cannot use OSH.

Why do I have to call to schedule certain appointments?

(1)  Not all providers can see all types of appointments and our system currently can't differentiate between providers.  We also have providers that specialize in certain areas, like orthopedic injuries or diabetes.  For example: not all providers are certified to write prescriptions for Accutane (an acne medication).

(2)  For some types of appointments it is better to see the same provider each time - such as PHP counseling or physical therapy.  Establishing a relationship with a provider results in better treatment because he/she gets to know you, your case, and your needs.  You may try to schedule an appointment through OSH for Thursday when your provider doesn't work on Thursdays.

(3)  In some situations, a condition may require immediate care.  If you are having chest pain, we don't want you to schedule an appointment for tomorrow!  We want to know you're having chest pain and get you in right away.

Is there anything else I need to do before I come in for my appointment?

Save yourself time by completing your appointment-specific check-in forms through OSH before you come in (e.g., how long you have had symptoms).

You will still need to swipe your Buff OneCard at a Wardenburg check-in computer when you arrive for your visit. Remember to always arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment.

Can I schedule a same-day appointment online?

Yes - some same-day appointments for the Medical Clinic can be scheduled online. By 6PM on the business day before, you will be able to schedule an appointment for the following morning. By 8AM, you will be able to schedule an appointment any time that day. Appointments must follow the criteria listed in the question above.

Why isn’t the system finding any available appointments?

Try expanding your search parameters. Some providers, such as our acupuncturists, are only here on certain days.

Currently, the Medical Clinic is only scheduling same-day and next-day appointments online.  (Next-day appointments are available by 6PM on the business day before.)  Only allergy shots and immunizations may be scheduled further in advance.

It’s also possible that all of our available online appointments are full. You can call Wardenburg to schedule an appointment:

Medical Clinic: 303-492-5432

Psychological Health: 303-492-5654

Sports Medicine: 303-492-6280

Women’s Health: 303-492-2030

Can I cancel an appointment online?

No - appointments must be canceled by phone or in person by 5PM on the business day before your appointment.  Appointments cannot be canceled via e-mail or OSH.
