  • Print this and keep it for your records.

Students in the following programs are not automatically enrolled

Students who are not automatically enrolled must come to the Student Health plans office to sign up. You may be asked for additional information depending on your program and will be required to pay the premium and applicable user fees.

Spring Enrollment/Re-enrollment

Students returning from a study abroad, time out, continuing education, graduate program or whose student status has changed will be automatically enrolled in the Student Gold Health Insurance Plan for the spring semester unless the Campus Care Plan is selected or coverage is waived.

Summer Enrollment

New summer students are not automatically enrolled in the insurance. You need to enroll and pay at the Student Health Plans Office by the semester deadline.

Late Enrollment

Eligible students will not be allowed to enroll in a plan after the applicable enrollment period, with one exception. If you have been involuntarily terminated by another group insurance plan you may purchase the student insurance, provided you furnish proof that you became involuntarily terminated by another insurance company during the 30 days immediately preceding. In such cases, the cost will be the same as it would have been at the beginning of the coverage period, but the effective date will be the date you enroll in the plan and make the required payment.
