Mandatory Insurance Policy
The University of Colorado has adopted a policy of mandatory health insurance coverage for all CU-students.
Because of the university's mandatory health insurance coverage policy, you will default into the Student Gold Health Insurance Plan and your tuition bill will be charged $860 per semester unless you waive coverage or select the Wardenburg Campus Care Plan. (This policy does not apply to students in the ACCESS, Continuing Education, Time Out, Semester at Sea, Evening MBA, and Study Abroad programs.)
Proof of insurance is required to select the Campus Care Plan or waive coverage.
What if I already have insurance?
Get convenient, on-campus care for a low cost! Wardenburg offers the Campus Care Plan that can supplement your outside insurance and provide convenient care on-campus. Plus it's hassle-free and at $150 a semester can pay for itself in just one visit! More about Campus Care >>
How do I make my selection?
Log in to CUConnect and click on the "Financial" tab. You will be able to choose your insurance plan or waive coverage during enrollment periods. There is also a selection form available for printout on the Student Health Plans web site.
Deadline to select the Campus Care Plan or waive the Student Gold Plan for the Fall 2008 semester: September 3, 2008
