Eating Disorders

Assessment and Treatment

Through our eating disorders services, Wardenburg provides assessment and treatment to students struggling with issues related to food, weight, and body image, including mild to moderate eating disorders.

Coordinated by Dr. Dana Udall, our team is multidisplinary in nature, which means that students can address psychological, medical, and nutritional needs. Students taking or seeking psychotropic medication can meet with a psychiatric provider as well.

Students may access services in a variety of ways:

  • To schedule an appointment with nutrition services click here
  • To schedule a medical appointment for an eating disorder evaluation in the Medical Clinic click here
  • To get started in counseling, students can come to either Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS) location for a walk-in appointment. Walk-ins are offered Monday - Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; no appointment is necessary.
  • Students who are unsure of where to start or would like help with an appointment may also contact Dr. Udall at 303-492-9842.

At times, students with eating disorders may require a higher level of care than we can provide. In these instances we will facilitate a referral to a more appropriate care provider. Students with the Gold Plan can find coverage information here.
