The Postdoctoral Association of Colorado (PAC)


The Postdoctoral Association of Colorado was created in 2005 to serve the needs of individuals holding postdoctoral positions at CU Boulder or in any of the national labs that work with campus research projects. Gretchen Argast, Chemistry, and Brian Klocke, Sociology/GTP, are the current Co-Presidents of PAC. Erica Dawson is the current President.

Activities

  • Each fall and spring semester, a speaker series is held to address issues of interest to postdocs.
  • Liaison with Sigma Xi
  • The Postdoctoral Association of Colorado has formed a relationship with the national office and local chapter of Sigma Xi.
  • The University of Colorado participated in the national Sigma Xi Postdoctoral Survey in 2004-06. Local and national data are available.

PAC Advisory Committee

Postdocs are invited to all GTP activities. They are also invited to participate in the Postdoctoral Association of Colorado. For information on PAC, please write to gtpPD@colorado.edu.
