graduation cap and certificatesThe Graduate Teacher Program offers three certificates that graduate students may pursue during their studies at CU Boulder.

The Certificate in College Teaching (CCT) helps graduate teachers develop a confident classroom presence, good interactional skills, and a firm foundation in college teaching. Graduate students must teach for two semesters to pursue this certificate. Further details are provided via the link.

The Professional Development Certificate for Preparing Future Faculty (PDC:PFF) offers graduate students the opportunity to pursue a project on teaching at the college level under the guidance of a faculty mentor. Graduate students are not required to teach to pursue this certificate. Further details are provided via the link.

Professional Development Certificate for Preparing Future Professionals in Business, Government, Industry and the Arts (PDC:BGIA) offers graduate students the opportunity to pursue an internship off campus. The Graduate Teacher Program works with Career Services on this certificate. Further details are provided via the link.

Dates all materials must be turned in to GTP office for certificates to appear on transcipts:

Fall 2014 - Due December 30, 2014

Spring/Summer 2015 - Due August 15, 2015
