Graduate students from all fields are invited to learn about speaking with the public on December 2, 2013, 1:00-2:30 pm, in UMC room 247.

Professor Polly McLean from Journalism & Mass Media, Dominic Dezzutti, host and producer of the Emmy award winning Colorado Inside Out on Colorado Public Television, and Lorine Giangola, who has her doctorate in Environmental Studies, will discuss how academics can best share their work with a lay audience.

Attendance counts as Graduate Teacher Program workshop credit. Please sign in. Light refreshments will be served.

The Communicating Complex Ideas Project is a collaboration among the Graduate Teacher Program, JMM, Communication, Film Studies, and Colorado Public Television. The project is funded by the Graduate School.
