TIME OFF TEACHING

 

 

CENTER FOR HUMANTITIES AND THE ARTS.  Two-course reduction.

Buy Yourself Out of a Course.  For occasional use only, and only in support of research or creative work.  Involves salary reduction.  Requires approval of your Chair and Associate Dean.

The following grants are for tenured associate-level faculty:

Sabbatical.  One semester at full pay, or two semesters at half pay.  Available after 12 semesters continuous service (not including any leave without pay).  Must have tenure at time of sabbatical.
