Q: Do I have to be Asian to join?
A: No. Sigma Psi Zeta embraces diversity and welcomes members of all races and cultural backgrounds. We believe that our mission to promote awareness of the Asian/Asian-American culture is strengthened by the diversity of our members regardless of race, religion, or creed.

Q: What is expected of me as a Rushee?
A: Rush events are open to all female students. All that we ask of you is that you come ready to have fun!

Q: How long is your pledging process?
A: The length of our pledging program varies with each pledge class, with a minimum of 6-8 weeks.

Q: Does your organization haze?
A: No. Sigma Psi Zeta does not endorse degradation or physical abuse of our pledges in any way. We give our pledges the same respect that we, as strong women, demand. Our pledging program is designed to educate, not degrade. Check Out Our National Policies.

Q: Do you have a brother fraternity?
A: No. As a sorority, we function entirely independently. As Sigmas, our independence is something we take extreme pride in.
