Programs & Services

The GLBTQ Resource Center provides information dissemination and referral; educational, cultural, and social programming; advocacy and voice for the GLBTQIA community at the University of Colorado-Boulder. We work closely with other campus departments, organizations and community groups to provide these programs and services. Please view our calendar of events for a list of upcoming programs and events.

Workshops & Trainings

  • Safe Zone Training
These trainings help to provide participants with the skills to create a safer space for GLBTQIA students within the university community. All are welcome to participate. Those completing the training receive a Safe Zone sign for their office to signify that they provide a safer space for GLBTQIA students.

  • Peer Education
Want to know more about gender, sexual orientation, and GLBTQIA issues, but don't have time for Safe Zone Training? Request a Peer Education workshop! For student groups, residence halls, or classes with 12 students or more, the GLBTQ Resource Center offers tailor-made educational workshops on gender, sexual orientation, and GLBTQIA issues presented by trained GLBTQ Resource Center peer educators.
