CHANNEL-HILLSLOPE INTEGRATED LANDSCAPE DEVELOPMENT (CHILD) MODEL


CHILD was originally developed in 1997 by N. Gasparini, S. Lancaster, and G. Tucker, in a research group directed by R. Bras at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at MIT. Development and use of CHILD continues, with contributions by Quintijn Clevis (Oxford), Daniel Collins (MIT), Arnaud Desitter (Oxford), Homero Flores (MIT), Erkan Istanbulluoglu (MIT), Vanessa Teles (MIT), and the original developers. Additional contributions to tools and interfaces have been made by Mike Bithell (Oxford) and JW Pennington (Oregon State).
