I have a unique perspective on the board about a recent graduates search for a job and what happens after you get that job. I am also happy to take groups caving, do career nights, or recommend geologically themed movies to anyone interested. |

Williamson Professional background: Between my bachelors and masters I worked on a geophysics crew collecting magneto-telluric data all over the western U.S. Since graduation from CU, I have worked in the environmental, mining and water resource sectors. Most of my work relates to water and water chemistry, be it groundwater investigations, environmental remediation, groundwater resources, mine waste rock, or groundwater modeling. I have worked at mines (coal, gold, silver, zinc, copper), refineries, nuclear weapons facilities, factories, landfills, military bases, fuel storage facilities, oil fields, smelters, and even a rocket plant. Most of my work these days is with mining clients in Mexico.. |
