Fred Luiszer - RA
Works with Dr. John Drexler in the Laboratory of Environmental and Geological Studies.
Besides installing, operating, maintaining, and training others to use all types of
analytical equipment he is also a speleologist. Fred, who is a Fellow of the National
Speleological Society (NSS) and a member of the NSS Research and Advisory Committee, has
studied caves all over the U.S.A., Costa Rica, Belize, Mexico, and Jamaica. |

Alexandra Skewes - RA
Alex is a petrologist/economic geologist with interest in the relation between
etallogenesis, magmatism and tectonics, and also mineral economics and environmental
issues related to the mining industry. She has worked on projects concerning petrology of
various hydrothermal ore deposits, including Cu-Mo porphyry and breccia, Au-Ag epithermal
and Cu-stratabound deposits by way of fluid inclusions, stable isotopes and other
geochemical techniques. |
