Interactive testing allows for active learning and an emphasis on time on task because the students will receive feedback when insufficient time leads to low scores. It will also encourage cooperation among students as one student learns that he/she does not understand something and turns to another for assistance and "the answers". This, furthermore, supports "communicate high expectations" because they receive "prompt feedback" on the quality of their work.
