For a cultural geography class, to encourage active learning in the understanding of vernacular architecture and differentiation of house types, I will split the class into groups and ask them to construct a web page as a poster session (using photos, descriptive text, web links to prototypes or models, etc.) that highlights the differences that characterize various eras of dwelling construction in a small western town.
