Hello GIS/RS working group folks:
As I mentioned today in our meeting, I though we
should all be familiar with what is available (or
will be available eventually) through the NCGIA
GIS and Remote Sensing Core Curricula. There
seems to be quite a bit of information through the
GISCC, although some areas are somewhat sparsely
covered. The RSCC has even less, but as in the
GISCC, there are a number of people who seem to
be committed to developing a module. I guess the
thing to do would be to look for gaps in the
subject areas and fit your interests to those areas.
Or contact someone who is set to work on a topic
but hasn't done it yet and see if you can contribute.
One point of contact would be Brian Klinkenberg at
brian@geog.ubc.ca who was at the VGDP last year.
