Final score is the weighted sum of Assignment 1 + Assignment 2 +
Assignment 3 + Assignment 4 + Assignment
5 + Assignment 6 + Exam 1 + Exam 2 + Lab Participation. Each
assignment is scored on a 100-point scale, then weighted by that
assignment's portion of the total grade as listed in the first and
second rows of the table, usually 5%, 10%, or 15%.
All fractional point scores were rounded UP to next highest point.
Participation was based on percent participation in classroom discussions and attendance in lab.
Ranges of Final Grade: A (93 and above),
A-
(90-91), B+ (87-89), B (83-86), B- (80-82), C+ (77-79), C (73-76), C-
(70-72),
D+ (60-69), D (55-59), D- (50-54), F (49 and below).
