Travel Writing

1)      Make (a) comment/s about how the story related to what you have learned thus far in your World Regional Geography class.

2)      Ask (a) critical question/s given your new knowledge of World Regional Geography gained either from lectures or from the text. What sorts of things do you know to ask more about since you have taken this class?

 The letter should be 2 pages, single-spaced, in normal size font with 1 inch margins.  Spelling and grammar will be assessed – this is supposed to be like a real letter to a stranger so please put your best (written) foot forward.

The exercise is due in recitation the week of April 10^th.

This exercise could be worth 8.3% of your final grade (your lowest exercise grade will be dropped). You will be graded on your understanding of the class material, your understanding of the story, and your ability to express yourself in writing.
