Imagine if your mountain bungalow was really an ocean
front beach house. This may seem farfetched to some but it was a
reality long ago. Millions of years ago there was once an
Ancestral Seaway which covered most of North America and reached as far
as the front range. Taking a trip back in time on a virtual
geologic field trip we shall find empirical evidence that there once was
an ocean in front of the front range. From there the trip will
discuss how the flatirons and other formation came to resemble what they
look like today.
