My name is Courtney Trystin Sova but I've always gone by Trystin. "Courtney" was gifted to me by an older brother and has since become a strange nominal appendage that resides only in the formal world (doctor's offices, traffic tickets, first day of school, etc.) At 28, I still don't think I'm qualified to inventory a concise (much less lasting) grocery list of goals, intentions, and ideologies. Perhaps it is my fate to remain perpetually wide-eyed, and perpetually irresolute. Still, I can think of worse things than curiosity and am thankful for the story it continues to narrate.
I moved back to Colorado in 2010 and plan to graduate from the University of Colorado in December of 2011. Officially, I will be a geography major but my previous course history spans four schools and six majors. If prompted to identify a theme: my interests lie in finding creative solutions to heal the world's imbalances...in chasing the intersection between innovation and simplicity. Functionally, this has involved classes primarily in the arts/design and in social studies (with a sprinkling of business).
For your viewing pleasure, I have included a photo of my feet. Mind you, these swiss cheese slippers are often more graceful than what lies beneath but I can't imagine a more apt self-portrait. I hope that you enjoy this site, and please check back soon for the inclusion of my resume. |
