Nicholas L. Syrett is Assistant Professor of History at the University of Northern Colorado where he teaches classes on women, gender, and sexuality in U.S. history. He is the author of The Company He Keeps: A History of White College Fraternities (North Carolina, 2009) and articles on queer history published in American Studies and The Journal of the History of Sexuality.
