Difficult Conversations in the Classrooms

These two interactive sessions will focus on ways to manage difficult conversations in the classroom. Emphasis will include difficult conversations emanating from race, ethnicity, gender, diversity in content and thought and attendant classroom practices. A framework for thinking about these conversations will be presented, and participants will have an opportunity to apply the material to their own experiences.
