In elementary education we learn hands on. What happens to that style in the college classroom? In this workshop we will explore using concrete artifacts to illuminate abstract concepts within our disciplines.
Topics will include learning styles and the importance of play in the college classroom.
The FTEP Symposia are designed and provided for our instructional faculty members. If you plan to participate in a symposium conducted by a presenter whose college is different from your own, please be prepared to adapt the recommended teaching tools to the needs of your own discipline.
