French Scholarships

Leonard and Anna Fair Scholarships and Annual Award

Award – full time status required, French major, need considered, department decision.

Scholarship – full time status with major in French, 3.0 cum and major gpa, need based, US citizen and Colorado resident, junior or senior standing.

Ayer Romance Language Scholarship

French major OR minor, 3.0 cum and major gpa, not in final semester, at CU Boulder at least one year, need considered, completed at least one course at 3000 level at CU Boulder, preference given to students that have NOT studied abroad.

Katherine J. Lamont Scholarship

Italian major with 3.0 gpa, must have completed 18 hours in the major.  Department selection.  No criteria other than studying humanities and full time status.

Wesley Yordan Prize

Awarded to the student decided by the department to be the best NON major in an upper division French course (minors are eligible).

Ayer Romance Language Scholarship for Italian

Requirements:  Italian major OR minor; 3.0 cum and major/minor gpa; must NOT be in his/her final semester; in residence at CU Boulder for at least one year; complete at least two semesters of Italian at CU Boulder.  The scholarship is designed to assist a study abroad program for the student.

John Sadler Scholarship

Italian majors for overall excellence.  Need based.  Selection by the department.
