When I grew up,women had very few choices. They got married, or they became teachers, nurses or secretaries. So--- I got married. I also was a bank bookkeeper until I had children. I raised 3 children and took care of a dissolved husband and yes, I also held a full time job. From selling real estate to customer service, which I am still doing.

My children grew up and I became a widow.

Even though I am still working full time I now have time for my art. In the back of my brain was the desire to be an Artist, good or bad, professional or amateur. I HAVE TO PAINT AND DRAW.

I've mainly been self-taught. I have gone to classes around the Denver area at night classes when I could. I am now going to a correspondence school. I absolutely LOVE painting and drawing.

My inspiration comes from the mountains. I take pictures of what I like to look at and I paint them. Or if I see a picture somewhere and I like looking at it I will paint it. Not exactly as it appears but, what I see in it.

I have had a sight impairment due to a stroke I had last year, but that has not stopped me. It just slowed me down for a little while.

I hope you like my artwork, but, if not, I find it pleasurable doing it and I shall continue painting.
