Dolores
was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She moved to Colorado
after she was married and has lived in the Denver metro area for
over 20 years. Dolores has created art work for the majority of
her life, but obligations to her family and home left her unable
to pursue art as much as she would have liked. In 2002, Dolores
started a correspondence course through an art instruction school
and is now painting more than ever. She works in acrylics and finds
inspiration from natural landscapes.
In
The Tree in the Meadow, Dolores recreated a snowy scene
from a park close to her home. This painting hung at Access Gallery
in Denver from December 2002 to January 2003.
