Biography

Alonzo is a sculptor who possesses a mind of a most unusal type. He is a savant, which is a person with both a develomental disability and a spectacular, genius-level skill in a specific area. His specialty is the creation of animal figures, full of life and spirit, whicah are made with amazing speed, great accuracy in form, and artistic beauty.

As a professional sculptor, he has had worldwide recognition, including apperances on the Discovery Channel's World of Wonder, 60 Minutes, Geraldo, and A&E Channel's Myster of Genius. He has participated in fund-raisers for arts/disability programs with celebrities such as Christopher Reeves and James Earl Jones.

Alonzo enjoys demonstrating his sculpture, especially for young audiences, and appears at schools and other settings in the community. He is an inspiring person with a radiant personality. He lives in Boulder, Colorado.
