Artist Statement
Gerry sees the beauty in the things that others are going to discard. When people spend tones of money putting together racecars or fixing up an old car, they have ideas to make it run faster or better. After spending thousands of dollars these things they sometimes blow up in their faces and the car parts that they put all the money into are ruined. Gerry likes to take those pieces and make them into art. His abstract way of expressing himself through senses other than sight give Gerry his own unique way of building sculpture.
