This is an exciting time at the Department of Art & Art History. The arts are an increasingly important field to study as those who create transform everyday aspects of life, work, leisure, and community. This is reflected in the rapid growth of the Department. To meet these needs we are currently planning the construction of the Visual Arts Complex (VAC), which will house the Department of Art and Art History and the CU Art Museum. With the support of individuals, the student body, and the University, building is slated to begin in Summer 2007.
