The Experimental Digital Art Studio (EDAS) is located at the University of Colorado at Boulder's Department of Art and Art History. The facility features state-of-the-art new media technologies and functions as a creative work space where students are encouraged to develop critical and collaborative research projects that are relevant to their own evolving art practice. Production, presentation and performance ideas can be investigated in the G5 computer workstation lab, the high-speed wireless and laptop lab, and the TECHNE post-production lab. The facility also comes equipped with top of the line networked data projectors, a DVD surround sound system, and a Plasma screen.

EDAS also serves as a space to participate in the art of creative mindshare, where internationally renown visiting artists are invited to present their latest projects. Recent guests include Mark Tribe, Giselle Beiguelman, Mary Flanagan, Lisa Jevbratt, Mark Napier,Ben Benjamin, Yael Kanarek, John Simon, Christiane Paul, Alex Galloway, John Klima, and DJ Spooky.
