Introduction
ArtsBridge America, a program founded at the University of California, Irvine is now partnered with the University of Colorado.

Through this program UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UCLA, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, Cal State Long Beach, Cal State University Sacramento, Arizona State University, University of Colorado, Boulder, New York University, and the University of Utah are working with over 200 public K-12 schools throughout the nation to return arts education to over 20,000 public school children (75% in under-served schools).

This program shows that having the arts in education is valuable, as it is promoting interdisciplinary knowledge while enhancing students’ appreciation of and contributions to culture.
