A Verification of Nonfiling Letter from the IRS provides proof that the IRS has no record of a filed Form 1040 for 2021 (the tax year being considered for 2023-24 financial aid). This letter verifies that a federal tax return was not filed.

Once you have received your IRS Verification of Nonfiling Letter or Return Transcript:
- Write your student ID number on all pages of your documents
- Submit your Verification of Nonfiling Letter or Return Transcript using our secure document upload or by mail or in person; we cannot accept documents by email.
