FACULTY FELLOWSHIPS

Faculty fellowships are highly competitive awards that CU-Boulder grants to its faculty. They provide a reassignment of University responsibilities so that the faculty member may pursue full-time research or creative work. Fellowship applications consist of a clear research plan to be conducted over a specified time period, with defined objectives upon which recipients report at the end of the grant period. The Council on Research and Creative Work (CRCW) judges the applications competitively on the basis of the quality of the proposal, the record of the faculty member, and the expected contribution to the field and to society in general.

The Graduate School website for CRCW and fellowship information is at:

Faculty fellowship and sabbatical eligibility requirements are the same, and accepting one precludes the other.
