I provide administrative oversight and policy interpretation and development for most aspects of faculty life, from recruitment to retirement and most things in between. I chair the campus tenure and promotion committee (VCAC), Program Review Panel, Salary Equity Appeals Committee, and various others.

My work is focused on the LEAP (Leadership Education for Advancement and Promotion) Program, which includes providing leadership workshops for faculty. Additionally, LEAP is involved in developing support programs for department chairs, providing networking opportunities for women faculty, and continuing to provide a variety of half-day workshops open to all faculty. In addition, I also coordinate the Emerging Leaders Program (ELP), and maintain the LEAP website.

In addition to managing office communication, I track faculty offer letters, handle faculty retirement contracts, maintain the Associate Vice Chancellor's calendar, oversee accounting functions, manage office budgets and maintain the Faculty Affairs and Housing Exchange web sites.

My work focuses on activities intended to foster a positive and productive working environment for faculty members. I provide direct conflict resolution services as well as coaching and training to help faculty and academic administrators manage conflict in their professional relationships. When appropriate, I recommend changes in policies and procedures to enable the University community deal to more effectively with issues of conflict and conduct. I also investigate allegations of unprofessional behavior or faculty misconduct (excluding discrimination and sexual harassment) and make recommendations for administrative action.

I provide administrative support to the campus Program Review Panel, the faculty body responsible for reviewing academic units. I work to coordinate the proceedings of the panel and the supporting internal and external review committees. I serve as the primary point of contact for units undergoing review. In addition to my PRP work, I coordinate the annual orientation for new faculty. I also oversee the maintenance of the Faculty Affairs website.

I serve as the database manager for the Faculty Information System, which is the database used to maintain faculty tenure, promotion, sabbatical, and related records. Additionally, I manage the Faculty Report of Professional Activities (FRPA) web site and data. I also coordinate the monthly Regents' Agenda and Chancellor's Delegation for the Division of Academic Affairs.
