Capital Assets and Space Planning
This Office of Capital Assets and Space Planning provides space-related statistical and analytical services to the campus community and to external constituents. The unit maintains the integrity of the space database, processes official requests for space, performs space utilization/needs analyses, processes routine requests for space-related information, and develops policies and procedures by which space allocation decisions are made by the campus administration. The unit also works closely in person and/or through various communications methods with Facilities Management, Academic Affairs, and other members of the campus academic and administrative communities to compile accurate and timely space-related information.

Gross Square Footage undergoing updates. The FM CAD Office floor plan updating project is currently underway, applying a congruent, standards-based set of rules to the gross polylines determining campus GSF. Therefore, GSF numbers will be revised at a later date.
