Building Support Elements

Tuscan Vernacular buildings are accompanied by integral terraces, galleries, arcades, loggias, colonnades, porticos, cloisters, and characteristic staircases. These are essential elements to successfully complete the welcoming aspect of the style to incoming users. Each is carefully set to scale and materials to compliment the main structure. Most intriguing are the wrapped or enclosed courtyards that serve as people space or as charming gardens.
