Purchase of Surplus Property by University Employees
January, 2012
University of Colorado employees are now able to purchase surplus property.
Based on changes in state law, university employees may now participate in fixed-price sales and auction sales of surplus items, including on-line auctions through web-sites such as www.govdeals.com and www.publicsurplus.com. University employees purchasing surplus property will be required to sign a conflict of interest certification stating that they had no role in either the original purchase or the decision to dispose of the surplus item.
