You've come to the place to start the process of an energy audit for your office, department or building. Before you begin this process, please contact your building's proctor to see if an audit has recently been conducted or to inform him or her you would like to start the audit process.
Please follow the steps below to complete the energy audit process.
- These files contain energy audit checklists and follow up forms for identifying potential energy saving opportunities. Please complete the audit checklist yourself to the best of your abilities. This activity will get you familiar with the energy uses of your building.

- Download and post in your office: “7 simple actions to make an impact on climate change in your office today” (pdf)
- Replace any conventional incandescent light bulbs in your office with energy efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) supplied by Facilities Management, Office of Energy Conservation. Contact the Energy Conservation Officer (303) 492-1425, tabrizi@colorado.edu
