When Woody Guthrie sang about hard times, he knew what he was singing about - the Depression, the Dust Bowl, high unemployment, and impending war. But he also knew more than a little about the juice and joy of being alive and being an American. The musical, "Woody Guthrie's American Song," tells his life story following Guthrie as he travels west from Oklahoma to the migrant camps, from "California to the New York Island." The musical includes over two dozen songs, including "So Long, It's Been Good to Know Yuh," "Bound for Glory," and, of course, "This Land Is Your Land." The New York Times said it "manages to find both the high beauty and the earthy humor of Guthrie's love affair with America."

Hosting Men's A, B, and C as well as Women's A and B.

Weekly Schedule:

4:45 p.m. - Registration begins

5:15 p.m. - Women's B and Juniors (20 minutes)

5:40 p.m. - Men's C (20 min)

6:05 p.m. - Men's B (25 min)

6:35 p.m. - Women's A (30 min)

7:15 p.m. - Men's A (30 min)

Entry fees are $12 per entry or $100 for a punchcard for all ten races.

A short track race is a mountain bike race that is held on a dirt track, usually only big enough for 1 or 2 bikes across, and includes tight turns, little jumps, and little climbs. The racers do laps around the track for a certain period of time. The person that completes the most laps of the course in that amount of time wins the race.

Professor R. Shankar is the John Randolph Huffman Professor of Physics at Yale University. He is a compulsive teacher who will talk physics to any organism which has a pulse. His Physics 200a is one of the seven courses Yale has made available through the Open Yale Courses website.

Henry the Eighth concludes Shakespeare's sweeping history of the English monarchy. Abundant in both court pageantry and poetry, this last of the Bard's masterworks will surprise today's audiences with its bold characterizations and sinister intrigue. Henry the Eighth presents up-close the cruel dismantling of Henry's marriage to the loving, courageous Katherine of Aragon in favor of the young Anne "Bullen" (Boleyn). This infamous act, motivated by politics as well as desire, is engineered by one of Shakespeare's most relentless villains - the Machiavellian Cardinal Wolsey. Less often produced than his other history plays, Shakespeare's Henry the Eighth offers playgoers a rare opportunity to take a danger-laden voyage through the treacherous shoals of Tudor England to the glittering shore of the Elizabethan age.
