Discovery Learning Apprenticeship (research) positions available for academic year Fall 2017/Spring 2018

  • Are you interested in knowing more about research underway in the college?
  • Are you thinking about going to graduate school after completing your Bachelor’s degree?
  • Are you interested in learning new skills and improving your marketability, all while earning spending money (up $3600 for the academic year)

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions and are an undergraduate student currently enrolled in the College of Engineering and Applied Science, expect to be enrolled in the fall and spring and are available to work each semester, then a Discovery Learning Apprentice position may be right for you.

Don’t let the fact that you are not a junior or senior keep you from applying if you are interested.  The faculty is delighted to engage students early in their undergraduate program.  Just make sure you meet any specified requirements.
 
This is a competitive process, so indicate why you would be a great student for this opportunity and be sure to indicate that you meet the requirements that are listed for the position(s) for which you apply.  Not all of the projects have specific requirements, but some do, so read carefully. A GPA of at least 3.0 is required.
 
Be sure to select five projects of interest to you and mark them on your online application form.  Upload your resume and cover letter in which you express your interests and explain how you meet the qualifications.  Complete the application only after your cover letter and resume are ready to upload.
