PREP is currently taking resumes and cover letters for our General File of candidates for positions in the Professional Research Experience Program at NIST. PREP at NIST is a great way to get hands-on, paid experience in a federal research lab. The General File of applicants is not a job, but it is the first place NIST scientists look for candidates when they have a job to fill.
To be eligible for PREP at NIST, you must be enrolled full-time at CU and have a cumulative GPA of 3.000 or higher. Some positions at NIST will have course prerequisites, so please include a “Relevant Coursework” section on your resume to aid the scientists at NIST in their selection process. (Relevant coursework could include the Chemistry series, Thermodynamics, etc.)
