Job Description Title: Civil Engineering Intern
Classification: Student Assistant IV
Reports To: Campus Civil Engineer
Pay Range: $11.81 to $15.00 per hour
Terms: Starts immediately and can continue until graduation

• Assist on environmental compliance issues for the campus • Perform periodic inspections and monitoring on campus projects
• Provide project assistance including assembling utility information, performing field surveys, assist with LEED compliance, and developing CAD drawings.
• Assist in planning and design of small civil utility and transportation projects Minimum Qualifications:
• Civil, architectural or environmental engineering students only
• Enrolled as a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student with at least 2 semesters left before graduation
• 2.5 minimum GPA
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Able to work ~15 hours (or more) per week average during the semester and 30-40 hours per week during the summer
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel and MS Word
