This webinar is the first of a two-part series on water loss control in 2016. Part one will give a “state of the states” overview of what is going on in all things related to water loss control, including the regulatory landscape, why water loss control is now a forefront topic for utilities, as well as tools and references available for water loss control management. Part two will be more hands-on, providing training on how to complete a water audit using AWWA’s Free Water Audit Software and the M36 Manual.
 

The main goal of this webinar will be to highlight key developments from the Water Loss
Control Committee as of mid-2016, including the anticipated fourth edition of the M36 manual,
practical guidance for utilities on strategic business planning for water loss reductions, and a
review of how adoption of these tools and practices is spreading across North America. The
webinar will provide an effective look at what’s in the Water Loss toolbox for AWWA members
in 2016.
