University of Colorado Boulder

Designers Without Boundaries

Designers Without Boundaries (DWB) is an academic scholarship program for first-generation and underrepresented students in the Program in Environmental Design. The mission of DWB is to enrich the academic experience of students through inclusive excellence and provide opportunities to build community with other students, staff and faculty in meaningful ways that promote a collaborative, cooperative and supportive environment.

The Designers Without Boundaries program is one of the scholarship programs housed within ENVD Diverse Scholars.

Designers Without Boundaries strives to provide an effective academic service program focused on improving retention, increasing civic engagement and graduating successful students into the design professions. DWB reflects the University of Colorado Boulder's Flagship 2030 goal of fostering learning in a diverse world while creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.

"By 2030, CU-Boulder will be a model for the nation in applying best practices in support of diversity and inclusive excellence." ~Flagship 2030
