Directs the Children, Youth and Environments Center for Community Engagement.  He is interested in planning and design as tools to include the voices of underrepresented population groups in the creation of livable and sustainable communities. His recent work evaluates UN Habitat's Urban Youth Opportunities Fund and examines service-learning practices in undergraduate programs in planning, landscape architecture and architecture.
