Biography

Allen is a licensed Architect with over 35 years of professional experience. He has been teaching in the ENVD program for over 30 years. He has held numerous administrative positions in the program, Director, Program Coordinator, Assoc. Chair, and Assoc. Dean. He is currently the Director for the ENVD Program operations in the Center for Innovation and Creativity. He is also a Co-director of ION Community Solutions, a non-profit organization engaging in strategic community level assessment and development.

He is currently working in Alaska with several Chugach Regional, Alaskan Native Villages bringing resources of the University to bare in these remote and difficult contextual settings.
