CU Boulder Environmental Design Sampler

The Environmental Design Sampler is a one-day event to experience the rigor and excitement of being a design student at CU Boulder. This event will give prospective students a hands-on opportunity to explore the resources and skills needed to be a leader in the design profession.

Who: Prospective, high school or transfer student interested in architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning or design studies

When: Saturday, October 22, 2016

Cost: Free

Location:  CU’s Center for Innovation and Creativity (CINC) (1777 Exposition Drive, Boulder, CO 80309)

Parking: Free, CINC building


  • A tour of CU Environmental Design’s Center for Innovation and Creativity
  • Info session on exploring academic and career opportunities with Environmental Design
  • A sample design lecture
  • Two hands-on, skills-based design workshops
  • Lunch with faculty, staff and current students
  • Exhibit of student work
  • Info session on admissions, financial aid and scholarships
