About the speaker: Todd Mosher (MS AeroEngr '95, PhD '00) is the Director of Design and Development for the Dream Chaser, a low Earth orbit crew vehicle being designed by Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) in Louisville, and funded by NASA. The CU-Boulder Alumni Association presented the 2012 Kalpana Chawla Outstanding Recent Graduate Award to Todd in early November for his extraordinary achievements in the sciences and for his continued and thoughtful support of CU-Boulder. Todd has kept close ties with CU as a mentor and dissertation advisory board member and has recruited many CU alumni to work for him at SNC. The Dream Chaser program has helped cement the connection between SNC and CU-Boulder with more than $500,000 in research grants, senior projects and graduate projects.
Note: Due to the security policies of Sierra Nevada Corporation, where this event will be held, this event is open to U.S. Citizens only. Attendees will be asked to present a valid ID (driver's license) at check-in.
